Poor Sabin, but this makes me see their accidental interruption of the opera in a whole new light! It could play out like this:
*Sabin loses his grip on the rafter beam and pulls Edgar down.
*Edgar grabs Locke by the leg or belt to keep him and Sabin from falling.
*Locke, unable to hold their combined weight, starts to fall and grabs one of Ultros' tentacles out of desperation.
*And finally, Ultros struggles to make him let go, but ends up slipping off the beam, sending the entire lot crashing to the stage below.
