For 's couple contest...

Upside, Downside. Even thought we are made to be togheter, will always be enemies.

Concept:

first, it'S a couple, King and Queen. Those two are made to be togheter but. The background recalls a checkmate, so, they are Black and White. Natural enemies that will never be on the same side. I only used cold colors or hot colors for each one, recalling the fact that they don't belong togheter even thought in a natural way they should (fire/water). The fact that they are upside down is to recall that fact too... And the fact that their hand are so close but doesn't touch each other...

so... what do you think?

and yeah I know it's a classical position so if it reminds you whatever drawing I know....
