edit: Updated the picture. I scanned a new and better version of it. copies will be sold at AB ^^
For  's couple contest...Upside, Downside. Even thought we are made to be togheter, will always be enemies. Concept: first, it'S a couple, King and Queen. Those two are made to be togheter but. The background recalls a checkmate, so, they are Black and White. Natural enemies that will never be on the same side. I only used cold colors or hot colors for each one, recalling the fact that they don't belong togheter even thought in a natural way they should (fire/water). The fact that they are upside down is to recall that fact too... And the fact that their hand are so close but doesn't touch each other... so... what do you think? Original character nyo... EDIT: I know... I hate the hands... and yeah I know it's a classical position so if it reminds you whatever drawing I know.... |

The red details on the yellow skirt match quite nicely, and the expressions look nice too! Background also.
Although they are not badly done (they're not) the positioning of he and her hands could be diferent, like his hand on top of hers, but maybe it accentuates the oposition in your concept...
